Glimmers | Sometimes We Just Need to Sit in the Flowers

It had been a long day.
The kind of day where all I wanted to do was sit down on the couch and disappear into rest.
But my son wanted to go outside and watch the sunset.
So I followed him.
And when I stepped into the yard, everything was glowing.
The flowers.
The plants.
The light spilling across the desert walls.
It felt as though the entire yard was singing.
I sat down in the middle of the flowers, and for a moment, it felt like I had stepped into a portal made of light and joy.
And something inside me softened.
The stress I had been carrying all day simply… melted.
Not because I solved anything.
Not because life suddenly became perfect.
But because beauty was still here.
Waiting for me to notice it.
I think there are moments like this all around us.
Small holy moments.
Tiny openings.
Glimmers.
Moments where the nervous system remembers:
life is not only pressure.
Sometimes healing arrives quietly.
Through golden light.
Through flowers.
Through sitting on the earth long enough for your body to feel held again.
Sometimes we just need to sit in the flowers.
