Three years of waiting.

Three years of care.

And this morning, deep violet flowers opened quietly in the sun, as if they had always been waiting for this exact light.

These are gifts from my garden.

Growing roses brings me so much joy—

the way they feel against my skin,

watching them open,

breathing in their soft, sun-warmed scent,

the layers of color I could get lost in.

Oh the wonders we might see if only we slow down.... There is a new seed in the library from my wandering into the desert this week... I hope you enjoy and find some time in your life to slow down and see this beautiful world around you.

Today felt full of the kind of wonder that asks nothing of me except that I notice it.

Nothing brings me more joy than being out in nature with my boys.
